Milan 2009 Homeless World Cup Recap

This past summer, the Homeless World Cup took place in Milan, Italy from the 6th to the 13th of September. It was a huge success with 48 nations and 500 players taking part. One of the benefits to holding an event like this is the fact that it gives homeless players the opportunity to focus on something outside of drugs and alcohol...and it is an opportunity to represent your nation! It just shows how powerful soccer is, and how far it can reach and make changes. The video is full of passion and the presenter is hilarious, well worth watching!
Ukraine played Portugal in the final, with Ukraine winning 5-4!
