Wednesday night. The cup is the first piece of silverware seen in the Camp Nou since 2006. An early 9th minute Toquero strike gave Athletic some hope, but that was quickly squashed as Barca ran riot. Yaya Toure got on the board first for Barca, before a Lionel Messi strike, a Bojan effort, and a Xavi free-kick made for a thrilling victory for Barca. Barca played some excellent soccer, and sent out a warning to Manchester United ahead of the Champions League final. In between, Barca will have the opportunity to clinch the Primera Liga this weekend. What a season it could turn out to be for Barca. This could be the first of three titles, and with the league pretty much wrapped up that only leaves the Champions League. And what a game that should be on May 27th in Rome. Last seasons semi final saw Barca play Man Utd. It turned out to be a pair of goals with only one goal and limited chances. I have a feeling that this Final might be a little more open! Messi and Ronaldo both have a point to prove, who is the best player in the world! And lets be honest, they are two of the best! It is a game I will be looking forward to!
